This is the name given to a flat fronted stone erected upon a great pedestal. It is a polished monolith of 3 meters in height and with a base of 7 meters, whose shape reminds one of a feline. From another angle, it takes the shape of one of the mountains neighbouring Machu Picchu. It is a reference point that designates the Northern limit of the town, and the beginning of the access walk to Wayna Picchu. |
